Moro di Testa. Feudo del Pisciotto cellar, 75 cl

The Syrah prefers sandy soils and the vineyards of Piano Spineto, the plateau located in the highest part of the company, are the ideal habitat for this large grape variety. The image of the Moro on the label is taken from a sculpture of the great ceramist of Caltagirone, Giacomo Alessi.

Tasting notes: of intense ruby ​​red color, affects the smell for marked spicy notes, typical of the syrah grapes, in particular black pepper and cinnamon; On the palate, it gives a fresh and crunchy fruit, such as brunette, blueberry but also currants and cassis, typical notes, the latter, of the most valuable black Avola. Great structure and extraordinary elegance with a dense and silky tannic plot. A wine that is left appreciated immediately but that can also evolve in the bottle for several years.

Combinations: A wine that lends itself well to various combinations. Excellent with the first courses, from the simplest to the most elaborate, and with the seconds of meat such as roasted, braised and stewed.
