Refund Policy

Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to articles. 64 et seq. of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 2005/206), the customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, without the need to provide explanations and without any penalty.
To exercise this right, the customer must send Food in Sicily di Sortino Filippo a communication within 14 working days from the date of receipt of the goods.
This communication must be sent by registered letter with return receipt, addressed to:

The communication via fax must also be sent within the aforementioned deadline of 14 working days and followed by confirmation by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
The Customer Service of Food in Sicily of Sortino Filippo will, once the communication has been received, communicate to the customer the instructions on how to return the goods.
The right of withdrawal is subject to the following conditions:
1. The right applies to the product purchased in its entirety; it is not possible to exercise withdrawal only on part of the product purchased.
2. In accordance with the law, the shipping costs relating to the return of the goods are borne by the customer.
3. The shipment, until receipt is certified in our warehouse, is under the complete responsibility of the customer.
4. Food in Sicily di Sortino Filippo is not responsible in any way for damage or theft/loss of goods returned by uninsured shipments.
5. In the event of damage to the goods during transport, Food in Sicily di Sortino Filippo will notify the customer of the incident (within 5 working days), to allow him to file a complaint against the courier and obtain any refund. In this case, the product will be made available to the customer for its return at the same time canceling the withdrawal request.
Food in Sicily by Sortino Filippo will reimburse the customer the entire amount already paid, within 14 days of the return of the goods, through a cancellation procedure of the amount charged to the credit card or by bank transfer. It will be the customer's responsibility to provide the bank details on which to obtain the refund (ABI Code - CAB - Current Account of the invoice holder).
The right of withdrawal is totally lost, due to the lack of the essential condition of integrity of the goods (packaging and/or its contents), in cases in which Food in Sicily di Sortino Filippo ascertains:
1. The lack of external packaging and/or packaging containing the purchased product
2. Damage and/or opening of the product for reasons other than its transport.
In the event of forfeiture of the right of withdrawal, Food in Sicily di Sortino Filippo will return the purchased good to the sender, charging the shipping costs to the sender.

Conformity defects

In case of lack of conformity of Products sold by Food in Sicily di Sortino Filippo, the Customer must immediately contact the email address info@foodinsicily.it
The legal guarantees provided for by articles 129, 130 and 132 of the Consumer Code apply to the sale of the Products. The Customer has the right to restore, without charge, the conformity of the goods through repair or replacement or to an appropriate reduction in the price or termination of the contract. The Customer loses these rights if he does not report the lack of conformity to Food in Sicily di Sortino Filippo within two months from the date on which he discovered the defect.

Errors

The information relating to the Products provided through the Site is constantly updated, however it is not possible to guarantee the complete absence of errors.
Food in Sicily di Sortino Filippo reserves the right to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions even after an order has been sent, or to modify or update information at any time without prior notice.
