As Cutrera IGP Sicily was born, the best blend of Sicilian extra virgin oli oils

The Blend of Cutrera IGP Sicily is produced by two special varieties. Biancolilla is the autochthonous variety of the Val di Mazara, in western Sicily. It is a very rustic cultivar that produces an oil with a medium-length fruity characterized by well-known aromatic artichoke and fresh grass. The other variety at the base of Cutrera IGP Sicily is Nocellara del Belice, typical of the central part of the island. Its great fruits with a crunchy pulp produce an oil with a very intense fruity and with strong sensations of bitter and spicy.

A special blend

The union of oils produced by these two cultivars, Biancolilla and Nocellara del Belice, produces a very balanced blend. The result is a medium intensity oil with floral notes of artichoke, freshly cut grass and fresh aromatic herbs, an intense aroma and a persistent spiciness. This perfect balance is the result of our ten -year know -how.

Magic was born in the mill

The quality of our Cutrera PGI Sicily was born on the field but is refined in the mill thanks to our incessant research work. By combining study and experience, we have in fact created an innovative system that allows you to set, and therefore to manage, every single process of the production plant based on a personalized "recipe" (secret) for cultivar, origin and state of maturation. So we can uniform and enhance the organoleptic properties of each variety of olive, drawing from each only the best and thus creating our special blends.
