Seductive and lively on the palate, intense for its fruity scents, elegant in soul and with a lively and tantalizing balance. Charme Bianco is a white appreciable for the sunny freshness brought as a dowry by a particular terroir for its orographic nature and exposure to the wind. Tenuta di Borgo Guarini restores to the wine the minerality that distinguishes its soil in a blend of native grape varieties designed to favor lightness, freshness and drinkability. On the palate it is harmonious and engaging in its agile and lively nature, exhibiting a very satisfying acidic vein and perfectly soft in structure.

 

Tasting Notes.

Color: light straw, with subtle nuances of green hues;

Nose: opens with gentle notes of wildflowers and broom and almost immediately develops fresh hints reminiscent of mango, papaya, ripe banana and yellow-skinned melon; after a few moments, fine evocations of rosemary and bay leaves emerge;

Palate: harmonious and composed, it fully demonstrates its agile and spirited nature by exhibiting a very satisfying acid vein, which dialogues perfectly with the soft structure, giving it an enviable drinkability;

Characteristics: a wine of the most cheerful and carefree moments, dynamic, with the exuberance and vitality of talented young people, capable of creating unexpected atmospheres, persuasive, of unusual elegance and beauty, in the sign of distinction and style, of the innate gracefulness that is its own;

 

 

Curiosity

It is the provenance, the territory where one grows up and confronts where one falls and rises again that determines one's personality, and in the Trapani countryside, exposure to incessant winds, clay soil and orographic variability have forged wines with a dynamic and intense character. The particularity of the Guarini Estate is not the admirable beauty of the vineyards illuminated by sunshine and peasant passion, nor the 'alternation between remarkable temperature ranges between day and night, but it is the ravenous desire to look back to the past and to the future with tender emotion, for having struggled and having won against a hostile climate that differs from area to area. And it is here, in the daily challenges, that White Charm finds its birthplace, in which native grape varieties coexist in a constant swirl of vivacity and spirit to give the festive palate an exciting throb and confidence in the future.

 

VINTAGE CHARACTERISTICS

Very complex climatically, the warm and low rainfall fall of 2014 resulted in a greatly reduced spontaneous turf and characterized by the presence of microtherm species (those that adapt and grow in low temperatures). Lagging appear to be most of the wild and cultivated seed plants. The onset of winter was cold, with the strong lowering of sporigenic load due to the remarkably wet spring 2014. This lowered the starting microbial load and a reduced virulence capacity of pathogens in the early stages of their development (April). The plants met their requirements in cold, this led to a somewhat earlier bud break the vigor conditions were good, with a good vegetation/production ratio with greater uniformity of shoots and clusters. Production remains in line with previous vintages. Thanks to a rainy winter and the absence of Sirocco, the plants did not suffer in the hottest weeks, as they were preserved by high humidity. The vegetative delay favored the quality of the grapes showed a level of flavor and acidity perfectly in line with the characteristics of each type."

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Bright yellow color. The aroma is reminiscent of exotic fruit slightly aromatic, expresses complex and elegant notes of rose flowers, honey .On the palate the structure is vigorous, supported by the excellent acid vein, the finish is mineral.
