A bit of history...

Don Neli, founder of the Rizza family, back in 1935, opened a dairy in the heart
of the city of Modica, thus starting the story of its inclusion in the golden book of
confectionery traditions. Thanks to his son Peppino, a passionate pioneer of manufacturing
artisanal ice cream and chocolate from Modica, the Latteria Rizza became a "forge"
of taste and a place of attraction for signature delicacies. Don Peppino conquered the area
recognition of the undisputed creator of the varied and legendary sorbetteria
Modican chocolate. His aromatic "tablets" were to be enjoyed in pieces or in pieces
steaming hot chocolates, which, in vaporous circles, spread that impalpable creativity
passed down from fathers to children and still active after four generations. So,
the Antica Dolceria Rizza, drawing on the secrets of the family chocolate making tradition,
