Food in Sicily presents the Mandarinetto of Sicily of the Russo Distillery
Mandarin, the typical fruit of Sicily, renowned throughout the world for its intense aroma and sweet taste, is the essential ingredient of this exquisite liqueur. The mandarins are peeled by hand in order to preserve intact the aromas and perfumes of which the peel is very rich.
Alcohol content: 30°
Capacity: 100ml – 200ml – 500ml – 700ml
Ingredients:
Water, sugar, alcohol, mandarin peel infusion (5%), natural flavourings. Dyes: E102-E124.
FEATURES
The peels are infused in pure alcohol for a few days. When the infusion is ready it is filtered and completed with the addition of water and sugar to obtain a 30° hydroalcoholic solution.
The liqueur has a red-orange color; to the sense of smell it has a very penetrating mandarin scent; the taste is full, mellow with an intense tangerine flavour.
It is served iced in small cold glasses and is excellent as a digestive; It enriches fruit salads and is an essential component of classy cocktails and drinks.
