Food in Sicily It offers you a delicious jam to prepare your breakfast, made with Maletto strawberries, a municipality in Etna famous for the goodness of its strawberries.
Cultivated in very fertile lava soils, so fertile that it is not necessary to use synthetic fertilizers, the climate and land of this area give these fruits a unique flavour.
This one jam it is excellent on bread and butter, with a sprinkling of chopped pistachios on top but also in the preparation of the more classic ones tarts and also of the famous cake "cheesecake”.
You can choose it to accompany the creation of cheese-based tastings with an original taste.
Combined with robiola it allows you to create an excellent cream, soft and tasty, to spread on crunchy croutons to bring to the table as an ingredient to accompany an aperitif.

How it was born...
Respect for the territory
The company personally takes care of the raw materials from sowing to harvesting, favoring small-sized producers, to better control all the processes that precede their arrival in the company.
Sugar, the only natural preservative of our products, is combined with Zafferana Etnea honey, to obtain a refined sweetness with a reduced caloric intake, with the advantage of an extraordinary palatability that only top quality honey can guarantee.
Furthermore, the peels of the finest citrus fruits are candied in orange blossom honey with an exclusive process that makes them soft and crunchy and keeps their scent and aroma intact.
We follow the rhythm of the seasons
No fruit produced in greenhouses or frozen is used, but only the fresh product is processed, within twenty-four hours of harvesting at the latest.
The lemon juice used also comes from fresh lemons, squeezed in the company only at the time of processing.
A careful selection of producers and their products, which varies from season to season based on the goodness of the years and harvests, leads to choosing only the best fruit, honey and spices, which are combined and transformed taking care to respect their organoleptic characteristics as much as possible.

The sorting, preparation and peeling of fruit are strictly manual processes; this allows us to preserve and keep the consistency and integrity of the fruit as unaltered as possible, while eliminating every smallest defect and imperfection with the care that only human eyes and hands are capable of.
