Seductive and lively on the palate, intense with fruity aromas, elegant in soul and with a lively and appetizing balance. Charme Bianco is a white appreciable for the sunny freshness brought by a particular terroir due to its orographic nature and exposure to the wind. The Tenuta di Borgo Guarini restores to the wine the minerality that distinguishes its soil in a blend of native vines, conceived to favor lightness, freshness and drinkability. On the palate it is harmonious and engaging in its agile and lively nature, exhibiting a very satisfying acid vein and perfectly soft in structure.

 

Tasting notes

Colour: light straw yellow, with subtle green nuances;

Smell: opens with gentle notes of wild flowers and broom and almost immediately develops fresh scents reminiscent of mango, papaya, ripe banana and yellow-skinned melon; after a few moments, fine evocations of rosemary and bay leaf emerge;

Palate: harmonious and composed, it fully demonstrates its agile and lively nature by exhibiting a very satisfying acid streak, which dialogues perfectly with the soft structure, giving it an enviable drinkability;

Characteristics: wine of the happiest and most carefree moments, dynamic, with the exuberance and vitality of talented young people, capable of creating unexpected, persuasive atmospheres of unusual elegance and beauty, in the name of distinction and style, of the innate grace that is typical of it;

 

 

Curiosity

It is the origin, the territory in which one grows up and where one falls and gets up again that determines one's personality, and in the countryside of Trapani the exposure to the incessant winds, the clayey soil and the orographic variability have forged wines with a dynamic and intense character. The peculiarity of Tenuta Guarini is not the admirable beauty of the vineyards illuminated by the sun and peasant passion, nor the alternation of notable temperature variations between day and night but it is the ravenous desire to look at the past and the future with tender emotion, for having fought and won against a hostile climate which differs from area to area. And it is here that, in the daily challenges, white Charme is born, in which the native vines coexist in a constant vortex of liveliness and spirit to give the festive palate an exciting throb and confidence in the future.

 

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE VINTAGE

Very complex from a climatic point of view, the warm and little rainy autumn of 2014 led to the appearance of a significantly reduced spontaneous turf characterized by the presence of microthermal species (those that adapt and grow at low temperatures). Most of the spontaneous and cultivated seed plants turn out to be late. The start of the winter was cold, with a strong reduction in spore production due to the remarkably humid spring of 2014. This lowered the initial microbial load and reduced the virulent capacity of the pathogens in the early stages of their development (April). The plants satisfied their needs in the cold, this led to a slightly earlier budding, the conditions of vigor were good, with a good vegetation/production ratio with greater uniformity of the buds and bunches. Production remains in line with previous years. Thanks to a rainy winter and the absence of Sirocco, the plants did not suffer in the hottest weeks, as they were protected by strong humidity. The late vegetative growth favored the quality of the grapes and showed a level of flavor and acidity perfectly in line with the characteristics of each type."

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Bright yellow in colour. The scent is reminiscent of slightly aromatic exotic fruit, expressing complex and elegant notes of rose flowers and honey. On the palate the structure is vigorous, supported by the excellent acidity, the finish is mineral.
