"Nutaru" it is a Sicilian sparkling wine classic method from grapes Frappato, aged on the yeasts in the bottle for at least 24 months. It has a fresh and mineral scent, with notes of citrus, flowers and toast. The sip is soft and pleasantly savory, with a fine effervescence.

 

DESCRIPTION OF THE AVIDE 'NUTARU'

“Nutaru” is a Classic Method Sparkling Wine where the mineral texture, both on the nose and on the palate, plays an important role. It is a product that is drunk with great pleasure, whose drinking is never tiring, but rather is always punctually enveloping and engaging. Thanks to the Avide winery, a historic reality in the Ragusa terroir which, in addition to delighting the palate of enthusiasts with excellent white and red wines, also amazes for the production of bubbles such as "Nutaru", a centered label without any imperfections.

The Classic Method “Nutaru” is a sparkling wine that the Avide winery creates from the pure grapes of a large native Sicilian red grape variety, Frappato. The vines grow within vineyards characterized by a sandy-loam subsoil. After harvesting, the grapes undergo an initial fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature, before refermenting, according to the production principles of the Classic Method, in the bottle, remaining in contact for at least 24 months with its own yeasts. At the end of this period we proceed with the disgorgement operations.

Lo Sparkling wine “Nutaru” is a Classic Method which, in the glass, reveals a beautiful straw yellow color, crossed by light reflections tending towards golden; the texture of the perlage appears fine, with good persistence. The aromas that develop on the nose reveal refreshing notes, where the mineral component plays an important role, embellished with floral touches and sensations that recall yeast. When tasted it is full-bodied, smooth, with a slim and lively sip characterized by a savory taste. A good bubble from Avide, ideal for tasting with a drink, both during informal aperitifs and on important occasions.

Initially an experimental product, the subject of a degree thesis becomes a very interesting expression of what can be done with frappato. Dedicated to the two Notaries of the company, the rosé is dedicated to the great-great-grandfather Francesco Destefano.
