Shipping and delivery times

Received the order land shipments are carried out by express courier usually within 72 hours of purchase. Couriers do not deliver Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays. The delivery times are about 3 working days the national territory and 5 working days for Europe. There are 10 working days of non -EU delivery times.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the amount of the order, weight and size.

The actual expenses are calculated during the conclusion of the order.

• 3 working days from the shipment of the order by national courier (SDA, GLS, Bartolini, TNT) 
• Any special services (delivery by appointment, delivery to the plan, insurance, etc.) are not included in the shipping costs and must be requested separately.

We point out that the timing of evasion order and delivery during Easter and Christmas due to operational slowdowns in all hubs and branches can therefore extend the deliveries they are subject to possible delays or postponements compared to standard timing

We at Food in Sicily will do as possible so that all shipments are delivered in time. Safe and insured expeditions
For shipments we use recyclable cardboard packaging, specific for all the products that we offer including and distilled wines, certified and extremely resistant.
In any case, to protect you to the maximum, the shipments are always insured For cases of breakage, theft or loss.

Reception of the goods
At the time of the delivery of the goods by the courier in charge, the customer is required to check:

1. That the number of hills delivered correspond to what is indicated in the transport document;

2. That the packaging is intact and not altered even in the closing ribbons;

3. That the warranty seals where foreseen are intact

All shipments made by Food in Sicily are Insurance Therefore, it is essential to obtain the refund, to respect the following education in the event of tampering and/or breakage:

The customer will immediately have to contest the shipment and/or the delivery by placing specific reserve "goods control reserve for (indicate the motivation, for example" damaged package ")" on the delivery document received by the courier. The writing "control reserve" generic and without motivation is not good.

In the event of lack of the reserve on the delivery document, the damage can no longer be contested.

The customer must subsequently report any damage within 24 hours of receipt of the goods directly to our email address info@foodinsicily.it

 

Orders will always be processed in compliance with current regulations in the states of destiny concerning the limitations to the import of certain categories of products.

In that case, Food and Sicily reserves the right to escape the order with the products allowed by at the same time as the Storno and reimbursement of the amount relating to the products not admitted according to the payment method used by the Customer during the order.

 

It should be noted that the delivery times reported on the site are only indicative and are calculated from the shipping day.

Food and Sicily does not assume responsibility for delays by couriers in periods of intense traffic or in customs clearance but undertakes to minimize any inconveniences.
