The company CioKarrua is specialized in the processing of carob flour and its derivatives, as well as soft almond biscuits and in the preparation of the famous Chocolate of Modica.

The carob in fact is Modica, and in the province of Ragusa (South-eastern Sicily), his reign unchallenged and the best deal for giving the best fruit.
Before they are otherwise employed, the locust beans are subject to destoning, operation that separates the pulp from the seeds.
