How Suber red wine is born

And it is in these lands that wine is born from autochthonous vines grown according to the regulations of organic agriculture suber.
A wine with a strong flavor, a strong character but, at the same time, elegant.
Its properties are the result of the singular union between territory and climatic conditions.
While the traditional forms of vine growing, combined with high winemaking technology, allow you to obtain a wine of natural quality, with total respect for the environment and human labor.
All this thanks also to the work of The Vigneri, specialized staff in the ancient sapling viticulture.
The organic wine suber it is the result of careful research in the wine sector that marries the traditional methods of growing vines.
Planted, as was once done, with a sapling and worked with ancient tools and care.
In the silence of the woods, the rhythm of the work in the vineyard is punctuated by the scissors during pruning, by the farmer's hoe and by the clatter of the hooves of the mule Gino during the plowing.
In absolute respect for nature and the surrounding forest, the vines are grown according to the product specification biological and work manually.
The peculiar soil composition of the territory - consisting of sandy and Mediterranean soils of intense red color that dominate sandy-arenaceous rocks - combined with the dry and windy climate, gives the grapes features of harmonious richness and gustatory complexity.
The clusters of a single vine are enclosed within each bottle, while the sapling breeding, in addition to ensuring quality production, favors a natural harmonization between the vineyard and the surrounding landscape.
After a natural vinification process, without resorting to any clarification and filtering process, Suber wine ages for 12 months in 225 and 500 liter barrels and is then bottled after about 15 months from the harvest with a bottle aging of at least 6 months.
